‘Natural Tango’

Unlocking The Secrets of Our Bodies’ Biomechanics

“It’s simple! We should all dance tango in ways which arise from our bodies’ natural movements, using good posture, and with each of us having a deep, physical, understanding of our own bodies. ‘Biomechanics’ enables us to know our muscles and our bones and helps them to come into sync! I want everyone to stop believing that this is impossible. It’s not.

“The starting point is the awareness of the mechanisms that govern the “natural” movement of the human body, to project from there an “optimal” physical training for dance and sport. We need to identify the muscles, tendons and joints that are involved in each movement. The exercises are based on the “home position” to progress in each section from the simplest to the most complex, without imposing a rigid order in which they should be learnt.

“It may not be a product you can buy, but you can have access this understanding if you are willing to bring to the process of learning a willingness to try – and discipline! In my workshops, I will be using a sequence of interesting and enjoyable exercises which will enable you to appreciate the truth of these ideas. So – bring your mind and your body! Once you understand this technique, you will find that it will help your dance to evolve every day.”

It is important that we can connect with ourselves before giving ourselves completely to the magical connection that exists between two people.
